Applying for Document Evaluation if You are Still Completing Your Program
Application Information
If you are still completing your program outside of Canada and the US, PEBC allows you to complete conditional Document Evaluation and apply for the upcoming Evaluating Examination. You must submit all required documents at least 8 weeks prior to the upcoming exam deadline to qualify and then be able to submit your final transcript no later than 5 days prior to the Evaluating Examination.

The instructions for submitting your transcript differ and are provided below.
Transcript Instructions
Provisional transcript – PEBC will require your interim/provisional transcript directly from your university to consider your file ready for conditional Document Evaluation.
- It must be sent directly from your university or college by courier or email.
- Your name must appear exactly as it appears on your identification documents.
- It must contain a list of all courses in your degree program with corresponding grades for all but your last semester.
- If your university cannot send an original transcript they can provide a photocopy, but each page must be stamped by your university and signed by a university official.
- The issue date must be within one month of the date PEBC receives it.
- If you have a Diploma in Pharmacy or another degree that contributed to your undergraduate pharmacy degree, you must also have the transcript for that program sent directly to PEBC by the issuing institution.
Final transcript – PEBC must receive your final transcript no later than 5 days before the exam.
- It must be sent directly from your university or college by courier or email.
- Your name must appear exactly as it appears on your identification.
- It must contain a list of all courses in your degree program with corresponding grades.
- If your university cannot send an original transcript they can provide a photocopy, but each page must be stamped by your university and signed by a university official.
- The issue date must be within one month of the date PEBC receives it.
- It must state that your degree has been conferred and the date it was conferred.
If your final transcript does not state that your degree has been conferred – you must provide one of the following at least 5 days prior to the exam:
- A letter sent directly from your university
- Attached to your transcript
- On university letterhead
- Original – copies will be rejected
- Signed by a university official
- Showing the name of your degree
- Stating that it has been conferred
- Stating the date your degree was conferred
- Your university must mail or email this document directly to PEBC
- A statutory declaration
- It must include your complete name, as it appears on your ID
- Your date of birth
- The name of your degree and that it has been conferred
- The reason why that information was not provided in your transcript
- The reason why your degree certificate is not currently available
- Witnessed by a notary public, commissioner for oaths, lawyer, or consulate/embassy official
- You can mail or courier the original document yourself – copies will not be accepted
Requirements for Sending Documents
Having documents sent from your university by courier:
- If a document is sent by courier, it is recommended that you request tracking, do not request signature confirmation, and enter $0 as the value.
- If your university or college will not send it themselves, you may have a courier pick up your document directly from the university or college and deliver it to PEBC. The university must be indicated as the sender. Do not request signature confirmation and enter $0 as the value.
- PEBC will not accept a university document if it has been given to you or anyone else first, or if documents that are not from your university are sent with it.
- Your university document will not be accepted if it is sent with your application.
Having documents sent from your university by email:
- You can request that your transcript be emailed to desubmit@pebc.ca.
- Your document will not be accepted if it is not emailed directly by the university or an affiliated college.
- PEBC reserves the right to conduct source verification of your transcript by directly contacting the issuing authority.
Mailing documents to PEBC yourself:
- The documents you send to PEBC should be sent by courier, with tracking, to the address found on the Contact Us page. Do not request signature confirmation and enter $0 as the value.
- Remember transcripts and licensing statements must be sent directly from the issuing authority. If they are sent by you, they will be rejected.
