PEBC has expanded the Document Evaluation eligibility criteria to remove the minimum 4 year requirement and allow for consideration of a post-professional pharmacy degree to determine whether the candidate’s educational credentials are comparable to a Canadian-accredited pharmacy program.
PEBC expects that with this change, candidates who have supplemented their first professional degree in pharmacy with further relevant education will have the opportunity to access the PEBC certification as a meaningful step towards practice in Canada. PEBC has introduced this change in recognition of its commitment to support the provision of safe and effective care to Canadians by competent pharmacy professionals.
