Candidate Conduct
All candidates must conduct themselves in a professional manner, holding themselves to the highest level of ethical and respectful behaviour when interacting with PEBC staff and taking PEBC exams.
Vaccinations
PEBC’s examinations are administered by exam centres across the country. Vaccinations may be required to gain admission at an exam centre venue (with the possibility of accommodation on medical or religious grounds in a few locations). As the situation continues to evolve, it is unclear what the local public health restrictions and venue-specific COVID-19 policies will be for the April 2024 Pharmacy Technician Qualifying Exam / May 2024 Pharmacist Qualifying Exam / September 2024 Pharmacy Technician Qualifying Exam / November 2024 Pharmacist Qualifying Exam. Candidates should be prepared to show proof of vaccination or venue-approved accommodation, if required. It is possible that unvaccinated candidates will not be able to attempt the exam at some sites in April 2024 / May 2024 / September 2024 / November 2024.
For Part I (MCQ)
Candidates have the option to take the Part I (MCQ) Examination by remote proctoring. Candidates are expected to schedule a remote proctored exam if they do not meet the vaccination policy at their preferred test centre(s).
For Part II (OSCE/OSPE)
Candidates will be informed of the vaccination policies, pertaining to their sites, when known.
If candidates are not able to take the exam for any reason, including their vaccination status, PEBC’s standard Withdrawal and Refund Policies will apply. Please carefully consider these requirements before applying for the upcoming exams.
US Foreign Policy Compliance
Eligibility to take PEBC’s examinations, via remote proctoring or otherwise, is contingent upon compliance with all applicable laws. This includes all restrictions imposed upon PEBC or its service providers as a result of international sanctions. Candidates must ensure they comply with all such eligibility requirements at all times in order to be permitted to attempt PEBC’s examinations. Please see U.S. FOREIGN POLICY COMPLIANCE STATEMENT | Prometric for information on the sanctions that must be observed by Prometric, a US based company.
