With this most recent administration of the Pharmacist Qualifying Examination Part I (MCQ) administration, PEBC is pleased to announce that the implementation of Linear-on-the-Fly Testing (LOFT) was a success. Almost 1000 candidates attempted the exam, each receiving a unique, parallel exam that accurately reflected the exam blueprint and met all PEBC’s various requirements to ensure that the exams are a valid and reliable assessment of competence.
The implementation of LOFT has allowed PEBC to leverage technology and the use of computer-based testing to advance the assessment of competence and enhance the security of its exam processes.
